Student Summer Jobs 2018

The Town of Fogo Island along with its local community partners is offering students summer employment. Positions are available through Young Canada Works, Advanced Education and Skills and Canada Summer Jobs. Please read the entire ad as to not miss any requirements.

Deadline for resumes: May 28th at 3:00pm (Tourism office) or 4:00pm (main office)

To be eligible, students must:
•Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
•Have been registered as full-time students in the previous academic year and/or intend to return to school on a full-time basis in the next academic year (please indicate)
•Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act; and,
•Be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.

Resumes may be dropped off with members of the following Community groups:

After you drop off your resume to one of the above Community groups:
•Send a copy via email to: tourism@townoffogoisland.ca
•OR drop a copy off at the tourism office upstairs at the Town Office
