My NL Family Doctor Award
This award celebrates the unique patient-doctor relationship by providing the people of Newfoundland and Labrador with the opportunity to recognize and honor their family doctor.
- •Recipients must be residents of Newfoundland and Labrador
- •Recipients must be licensed in Newfoundland and Labrador
- •Recipients must have practiced in Newfoundland and Labrador for a minimum of two years
- •Recipients must be in good standing with CPS NL
- •A compelling story about your family doctor in 500 words or less.
- •Please include:
- What makes your family doctor exceptional to you and/or others
- How your family doctor has impacted your life or that of someone close to you
- A description of your relationship with your family doctor
- The number of years during which you have been a patient of this family doctor

Selection Process:
- •Nominations are invited from the public
- •Nominations must be submitted to the NL College of Family Physicians office by email or mail, as listed on the nomination form
- •Deadline for submissions: August 2, 2019
- •The NL CFP Board will identify the recipient of this award
- •Recipients will be invited to receive the award at the NL CFP Celebration of Family Medicine event.
- •Recipients will receive two complimentary dinner tickets to attend the Celebration of Family Medicine.
- •Recipients will receive complimentary registration to attend the NL CFP Family Medicine Conference.
