A certain irresponsible segment of society continues to ignore the environment and litters and dumps their garbage anywhere they feel like it.
All of us pay a price for these irresponsible acts. The scenery is spoiled, visitors are turned off by the mess, and rodents and other scavengers are attracted by the refuse.
Through regional co-operation with other Councils and with the support of the Provincial Government, our trash is now transported off our Island for proper disposal.
Don't let a few spoil our environment. Use the proper disposal facility for all your garbage.
