For our Council meeting on January 26th, the Town will not be using Facebook live to broadcast it. A Zoom meeting for both the Council members and the public will be set up. Our hope is that this will help improve the overall experience for all involved.
If you would like to be able to view the meeting you will need to have the Zoom meeting platform on your device. If you do not already have it, it can be download at Video Conferencing, Web Conferencing, Webinars, Screen Sharing - Zoom, there is no cost to download it.

When you are let into the meeting your camera and mic will be turned off. It is a virtual Council meeting but all the same rules that are used at an in-person Council meeting apply.
If you have technical issues the Town will do its best to support you, but it is your responsibility to install and run the required software and we are limited in the assistance we can provide.
Please keep in mind the Town has no control over the strength of your connection speed to the Zoom platform.
This is the Towns first time trying this approach, after the meeting we will evaluate the experience, if it achieves the result we are hoping for the Town will continue with this approach, if not we will continue to look for alternatives.
